How to apply membership
Our Application Process
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Terra Madre, a small group of women potters living and working in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.
We have a two-step jurying process which includes a completed application with digital images and, if selected, an object jury.
Requirements
Membership is open to potters living in the following counties: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Grainger, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Union or Sevier counties.
All work must be made and fired by the artist herself. Work must be original and reflect a cohesive look as a whole.

A pdf Application Form and our By-Laws which provide important details regarding our organization and requirements for membership can be found below. It is necessary to read the By-Laws.
The deadline for applications is January 15th of each year. If selected by the Standards Committee the applicant will be notified and requested to bring 4 pieces for an object jury where the committee can also meet the artist. This typically takes place the last Sunday in January. Location to be announced.
